For decades, retail consumers have taken isolated ascorbic acid supplements believing they were using a natural vitamin C product. However, nothing could be further from the truth. The ascorbic acid found in the majority of vitamin C products on the market is generally synthesized from genetically modified and chemically produced corn glucose (made in China), a process most consumers would hardly consider to be natural. Our Synergized Acerola extract powder is certified organic and kosher and standardized to 21% all-natural vitamin C, one of the highest levels of 100% naturally occurring vitamin C available in any organic fruit powder. Our prized berries are grown near the rainforest in Brazil in NOP-certified organic orchards and processed in our proprietary facility located within minutes of the orchards.

For quite some time, the scientific community has known that camu camu berries provide an astonishing amount of naturally occurring vitamin C, 30 to 60 times more than citrus fruit. In fact, camu camu berries are the richest source of vitamin C in the world. However, these prized berries grow only in remote, hard-to-reach areas of the Amazon rainforest, and this has significantly limited their availability. Synergized Ingredients® has overcome this limitation and is now able to offer you an innovative, 100% natural camu camu berry powder standardized to 19% naturally occurring vitamin C.

Both our acerola and camu camu berries are handpicked at the optimum time, when the color reveals their peak vitamin C content. At the processing facility, the berries are stored at temperatures just above freezing to preserve their vital nutrients. This stringent temperature control is maintained throughout the entire standardization process. In a proprietary process, our acerola and camu camu berries are gently concentrated in a cold-liquid extraction. The syrup is then filtered and dried in a vacuum to protect the fragile, heat- and oxygen-sensitive vitamin C. Our gentle extraction process allows us to create an unusually potent product without any added ascorbic acid. These are truly natural products!

In an exclusive process, our potent acerola and camu camu powders are put into a natural matrix with pure, nutritive, manioc root powder to ensure a three year shelf-life with full product stability. This innovation allows us to completely avoid the use of any potentially genetically modified material, such as corn maltodextrin.
